Had reserved a car for four days over a weekend in Boston. I guaranteed the car with my credit card thru expedia.
When I arrived in Boston U Save had no cars and said they were overbooked and none were available in the area. I attempted to go thru expedia to get another car but there were none available. My travel companion fortunately had an "in"with avis and they were able to provide us with a car...but at $120 per day! U save promised to get me reimbursement for the difference but they have been avoiding me for 3 months.
The manager in Boston said that the national company was responsible. The national company said that the local franchise was responsible. Both said they would give me call backs.
My phone is still not ringing!
